IG-541 is a composite gas (52% Nitrogen, 40% Argon, 8% CO2) which is mixed and stored at a pressure of 300 bar. It is electrically non-conductive, leaves no residue and, at the correct design concentration, is suitable for the protection of occupied areas. IG-541 is a very effective fire extinguishing agent that can be used to protect a wide range of applications. It is suitable for use on class A (solid combustibles) and class B (flammable liquids) fires, including risks with live electrical equipment. IG-541 extinguishing method is based on oxygen depletion.
